The company operates with 10 fully equipped utility crews requiring skilled and reliable employees. We are looking to grow in our area of expertise – underground gas infrastructure, steam & condensate, chilled water piping, and electrical ductbank construction work.

Title: Utility Foreman
Reports To: Superintendent
Status: Regular, Full Time
Primary Role: Oversee and organize the work of crew to ensure projects are completed safely and on-time.
OQ: For gas work, Operator Qualifications (OQs) are desired.
Dependably meet objectives of each job for which you are assigned.
Work on the project site, assist crew with task at hand, and operate equipment as needed.
Safety is a top priority. We value OSHA training, as our foremen are expected to be the competent person on site. Our foremen also hold daily pre-job safety briefings and weekly toolbox talks.
Must have the ability to read and understand professional engineer trenching and shoring drawings and implement them in a safe and efficient manner. Knowledge of wood shoring is a plus.
Stay organized and plan for materials and other items that your crew needs for the next few days so that there is no unnecessary delays.
Read engineer’s blueprints and be able to shoot grades.
Supervise on-site subcontractors as needed.
Have positive interactions with others on job site including pedestrians, neighbors, owner representatives, GC superintendents, and inspectors.
Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, climb, and be able to use power tools and equipment.
